A Mother’s Cry from Gaza – Please Help Us Survive
Donation protected
My name is Hanan, and I’m a mother of three beautiful children. I never imagined I’d be writing something like this — begging the world not to forget us, not to let my family disappear in silence.
My daughter Tala is only a child, but she was born with a hole in her heart. Every day is a battle for her, and during this war, her heart struggles even more. We have no medicine, no access to proper care — and every night, I sleep afraid I’ll wake up and she won’t.
My youngest son suffers from a medical error that left him in urgent need of therapy. But how can I help him when we have nothing?
My husband — my partner, my protector — was injured from the constant bombardment. Despite his pain, he still risks his life every day, walking to the aid distribution points, hoping to find something… anything… to feed our children.
We’ve lost our home. Our lives. Our sense of safety.
Now, we live in a tent, with my elderly mother-in-law who I also care for. We are surrounded by destruction, fear, and hunger. I try to stay strong for everyone. I try to be a mother, a nurse, a source of hope — but how can I keep going when I have nothing left to give?
We go to sleep hungry. We wake up not knowing what day it is, what bomb might fall next, or if help will ever come. I hold Tala against my chest and pray that her heart keeps beating. That my son stops crying from pain. That my husband returns safely from searching for food.
We are trapped, forgotten, and barely surviving.
Please — I’m begging you — help us.
Even a small donation could help feed my children.
Help me get medical support for Tala.
Help me give my son the therapy he desperately needs.
Help us survive just a little longer.
We don’t want to die in silence.
Please share. Please support. Please care.
From one mother’s heart to another — don’t let us be erased
