I am Samah, a 35-year-old mother to the most beautiful children in the world.
But on October 7th, everything changed. A nightmare descended upon us — a nightmare we never imagined living, not even in our worst fears.
Our dreams were stolen, our lives shattered. From happiness and stability, we now struggle to find a single loaf of bread to feed our children. Our work, our home, our future — all lost in an instant.
Today, I speak to you not just as a mother, but as a desperate heart begging for a lifeline.
My children are withering from hunger, their little bodies weakened by malnutrition. Every day, I watch them fade — as so many children around us already have. There is no school, no future, and no hope without your help.
And as if hunger wasn’t enough, my daughter’s eyes are fading too — she needs urgent surgery to save her vision, but there’s nothing here for her.
We are not numbers. We are families, dreams, lives just like yours. The world turned its back on us — but I believe that there are hearts out there still willing to help.
Please, be the reason my children live. Be the hope that the world denied us. Without you, we have no one.

Yesterday, the day we decided to flee, my mother-in-law’s health deteriorated and she had to be taken to the hospital. She suffers from rheumatoid disease, and because of the war and the lack of proper treatment, her condition became much worse, leading to severe blood infections and a very high ESR.
My husband could not leave the north of Gaza because she was hospitalized, and our situation has become even harder. We are desperately in need of support to buy food and the proper medicine for her. We also ask for your help with donations to cover the extremely high transportation costs needed to move her safely to the south for treatment.
Please, stand with us in this difficult time. Every contribution makes a difference.

Today she underwent surgery and is now in urgent need of your care and support. She requires special medical attention and complete cleanliness to ensure her recovery. We kindly ask for your help in providing the necessary medicines and cleaning supplies to disinfect the wound and keep her safe. Your support in these difficult moments is her hope for healing."
