For many long months, we have been living inside a small tent that neither protects us from the heat of the sun nor the cold of the night…
A tent that has become our home, even though it resembles nothing like one.
I am a mother of five children… five lives that rest on my shoulders.
But today, I am unable to provide even their most basic needs.
I cannot secure enough food, clothing, or even a sense of safety for them.
Every day, we wake up to the same harsh reality…
The ground is our bed, fear is our constant companion, and anxiety never leaves our hearts.
We spend our days trying to manage whatever we can, but the need is far greater than our ability.
When it rains, the tent turns into water and mud…
And when the sun is strong, we burn inside it as if trapped in an oven.
I look at my children and cannot protect them from the heat or the cold, not even from the hunger that exhausts them.
My five children are not living their childhood…
Instead of playing and laughing, they are living in fear and deprivation.
They ask me for food, for very simple things… and I stand helpless before them.
This is the hardest feeling any mother can endure.
Life here has taken everything from us:
Stability, safety, clean water, enough food, and even rest.
Every day is a new battle for survival, and every night we just hope to get through safely.
I never imagined I would reach this point…
That I would have to ask for help just to feed my children. But today, I have no choice.
So I turn to you from the bottom of my heart…
