In the heart of Gaza, where destruction has stolen nearly everything, Layla, a widowed mother of three, clings to life in a torn plastic tent. Her husband was killed in an airstrike, and now she’s left alone to care for her children — Kareem (9), Sarah (5), and Lama (3).

Every night, she lights a single candle and tells them stories to ease their fear as bombs echo in the distance. There's no food, no clean water, no medicine. Her only dream is to feed her children and keep them warm.
