Hello,

My name is Elizabeth Demosthene, some might know me as Queen, Queenie Atkins, or Elizabeth Atkins I am a mother of five (5) wonderful kids and ten (10) grandkids. As you all may know that my 16 year old Queen, Queen-Elizabeth Seward has been in the hospital since August 17th and was transferred to Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan for Heart failure, she faught to keep herself alive fighting so that her heart wouldn't fail for two days breathing the last she said was that she could not walk, fell to the floor told me to call 911 and said she did not want to die and whispered to me (Mommy I Love you) and that's was her last words and as she breathe to stay alive I whispered in her ears and told her to fight, fight and don't give up. My Little is not out of the woods as she continues to get well, with the spike of fevers and getting treated for her heart and a breathing tube to help her breathe the Dr. Said it's up to her as he talk about a trache, but can be reversed of the time of how long she has the breathing tube in. She will need PT and OT to help her to walk and talk again. I find out ways to communicate with her as she do open her eyes, with blinking to say yes or no. This process in her life scary to her and confusing, I do my best as a mother to assure her that everything will be alright and when she get up and about that I will bring her to Liberty Science Center that is all she talked about going for her Birthday and buying a Bridgeton Dress. We trust, believe and faith in our God, we know that he can do the impossible. I myself is asking for help, I have been staying at the Hospital with my daughter, I do not want to leave not even for a second. The parking, toll, gas is not so easy. I do my best with eating to try and stay strong. I do my best to not break down and stay strong, but it can hit no matter how strong you think you are, especially when it comes down to your kids, grandkids or your love ones. I do my best to stay strong because of them. I Thank God for everything as We will put God first the head of our household, we believe, trust and have faith in him, and I know my God not put us through and never leave me because I ask him to not leave and if I do go off the path to put me back with him. I am not perfect, inwhich in my kids eyes I am perfect atlease I try. Please I ask and if it's just something little or just even a prayer I really appreciate the Help. Or even if you just share.
