This past few weeks brought unimaginable challenges to my siblings. A few months ago, Stephanie suffered a broken neck and underwent major spinal surgery at Vanderbilt. She was healing at home when, in September, her health suddenly declined. After a series of hospital stays, she was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer on September 28th that had spread to her liver and bones. Despite every intention to fight, her condition worsened quickly, more quickly than anyone could even fathom. She entered hospice on October 14th and passed the next morning, holding her longtime partner, Eric's hand.

Her children and family are now faced with the emotional and financial weight of saying goodbye far sooner than they ever expected. We are asking for help to cover funeral and memorial expenses, allowing her loved ones to focus on celebrating her life and caring for one another during this difficult time.
