Mother of 4 displaced 5 & 7 yr old died from fire.

Asia (mother) is in need of funds to rebuild from the May 2023 home fire that killed 2 of her 4 kids. Money used for funeral arrangements, home furnishing, clothes, and medical expenses from the treatment of both kids. Medical insurance did not pay for all of costs. The remaining kids are 11 (girl) and 4 (boy), both had birthdays since fire. Anything you can donate will be used to rebuild, but nothing would be the same without Alijah and Addyson.
Hello, my name is Shawnez M. McKenzie, I am the mother of Asia McKenzie and the grandmother of Alaysia (10), Alijah (7), Addyson (4), and August (3). With a heavy heart I want to thank everyone for your prayers and support. Asia and the four children were in a house fire this morning Thursday May 11, 2023. Although she was able to get two of her children out, the other two were trapped in the fire. As a result of being trapped, 30% of Alijah’s body was burned, he lost oxygen for 10-12 minutes causing him to have no brain activity. Children’s hospital have since then airlifted him to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio where he remains on a ventilator. Addison was without oxygen for 10-12 minutes causing her to have no brain activity, seizures and her heart stopped for 12 minutes. They have lost everything! Alijah and Addyson died together hand May 18th, after Addyson’s 5th birthday. We are asking for help to ease the financial burden as the months go by to get Asia and her 2 remaining kids back on her feet.
