I'm a mother to a beautiful, smart, and wonderful daughter. I have been a stay-at-home mom her whole 7 years on this earth. Unfortunately, things at home kept getting worse, to the point people were asking me if I was a maid/slave. threats of “get out then no stay” came, and I didn’t know what to do. Until one day, I had to make a police report. I left and went to a safe place (no car, no money, no job, no bank account). Then I learned they filed for emergency custody, and I am entitled to a 15 day hearing once I am served, as I had ZERO family or support in the state. I had no choice but to leave and go where support was (this disqualified me for any type of legal aid help). I know things are rough for everyone in these hard times, but anything could help a mom get a lawyer and help fight for legal rights. The universe is telling me do not give up. So I ask if you can donate, thank you, and if you can’t, a simple share would help. From one mother to another, we all know we would do anything to make sure our babies are protected and get shared time.
