Hi, my name is Fallon Taylor. I'm starting this fundraiser in honor of my sister, Tremeka Youngblood Washington and her family. On October 8, my sister's three children were the victims of a terrible act of violence that claimed the life of her only daughter and left her sons injured from the subsequent car accident. Her youngest son, Kai, who is pictured on the right, suffered the most life-altering injuries that has changed the trajectory of our lives forever. His mother Tremeka, will be out of work for an unknown amount of time because her life will now be one of taking complete care of Kai, as he suffered a severe spinal cord injury which left him in a quadriplegic state. They will need assistance with expenses for his care as well as the costs to ensure accessibility for their home in order to prepare and care for him. The primary goal is to be able to get support needed for my family, as his care will also include mental health counseling because Kai has developed anxiety, depression, and PTSD from the events of that night.
