Help a mother and son find a place to sleep!

Hi, my name is Marivy, and we are fundraising for a coworker and her minor son. A few days ago, our friend and her young son were evicted from their home with only 24 hrs. notice. She was trying to fight the process and went to court. The judge decided only to take her documents/evidence and inform her of the decision for the case. After several calls with no response, she received the eviction notice on her door this past Friday. Without a hearing.

At the 24 hour mark the maitanance team arrived and changed the locks thus making it impossible to reenter the apartment.

She currently does not have the means to afford first, last and security deposits that are being asked to move into any available space. She used the last of her available funds to obtain a storage facility to house all her belongings. She has no family in the US and has no other means of income then her job.

She and her son are currently at the mercy of friends and church members that are helping as much as they can to keep her going until something permanent becomes available.

Any monies raised will go toward assisting her and her son be able to move into an apartment.
