A mother and her 4 babies

As many of you may or may not know I was in a very bad car accident on Dec 31. With me were my 4 kids; 9y/o daughter, 7y/o son, 3y/o son and my 5 month old baby. I was the one who received the biggest hit. I broke my left femur, my hip, pelvic bone, a few ribs, shattered my knee, injured my lower back and I have deep lacerations to my left knee and hip and I am currently still at the hospital. My 3y/o son severely broke his left arm and needed screws and he is still currently in the hospital as well. My 9 y/o had a tear in the liver and my baby a cracked skull but luckily no injury to the brain and my 7 y/o suffered no injuries. They are now home but are traumatized and have nightmares and my 5 month old baby has been struggling sleeping to sleep without me. I was told that I need  to be in rehab for a couple weeks, maybe months and my kids are unable to come see me because of their ages and FaceTime and phones calls are not enough. I did this gofundme only to help with any upcoming expenses since I will not be able to work for the next 5-6 months and with everything going up in prices I would like to make it easy on everyone helping care for my kids while im away and recovering..

That day to say the least was very traumatic not only to me but for my kids as well. And this is was I can remember from that accident.

If i have to be honest, after I was hit I felt like i did lose consciousness but something inside me was like “Wake up bitch! Your kids!”, so i was barely alert calling out to each kid and once i was able to see they were stable I told my 9year old to get her brothers out of the car and omg shes my rock, she was on it and was telling me to stay alert and I remember playing it off like nothing happened to me and by the grace of God people stopped and helped my kids out. Unfortunately I was hit a second time and that was what made my son (3yrs) somehow fall in between the seats. My daughter was scared and telling me he wasn’t answering her and I just remember telling her “Its okay, dont look, get out, get your brothers out” and from there I only remember they told me my son was being flown out to Loma Linda and that the other 3 kids were being evaluated by paramedics and that was it. I knocked out after that. Next thing I remember was being told I needed sx fast and they were telling me to sign because no one was with me at the time. My dad and husband left with my two younger boys to Loma Linda, my brother went  to RUHS Moreno Valley with my two older ones. My sister in law ended up being the one in the ER with me that. Which i don’t remember much but was told she kicked ass that day.  Not much happened after that and now we are all recovering but its going to be a long journey and all I can say now is  I thank God everyday he didn’t take any of us with his that morning. He has a plan for us but this is only the beginning. My babies are my world and I miss them and cant wait until we are all home together again..
