A mother and daughter find a new home lay her father to rest

Hello, my name is Krystal and I am creating this GoFundMe page for my aunt Marjory. Despite this year being extremely tough on her, she will never ask for help, so I decided to do it for her.

As we all know, Hurricane Helen destroyed many homes and unfortunately, my aunt was one of the affected. She and my cousin lost everything: clothing, food, electronics, beds, furniture, etc. They were left without a home and will now need to start all over again. On top of this devastation, my aunt's father passed away today, 10/04/2024, after losing his battle with cancer. This has caused a great amount of stress on my aunt and I just want to get her any help possible in finding a new home for her and her daughter, as well as help with laying her father to rest during this difficult time.

All the pictures we have are from days after the storm as it was so flooded they were not allowed back until it was safe. On some of the pictures you can see the lines on the outside of the house showing how high the water was. They were able to save a few pieces of clothes and shoes by washing them multiple times but everything is gone and damaged.

All funds will be used for funeral and living expenses, home, clothes, food, furniture, ETC.

I understand there is so much going on in the world and so much help needed. We would appreciate anything, even a share and a prayer. Anything helps.
