My brother recently underwent the SECOND liver transplant of his life. His family needs your help seeing this through to success!
Currently residing in Rochester, MN surrounded by extremely talented and caring health care professionals, my family needs assistance in funding a residence for his family members who will be his support team in transition back to normal life. His surgery was delivered successfully just 24 hours ago. My brother's first liver transplant occurred in 1993 at the tender age of 10 years old. You see...brother was born with a condition that affected the biliary ducts of his liver. A condition known as biliary atresia. After serving my brother for 27 years, that liver finally gave out. His family were fearful that his luck had finally run out.
Now...it's time for rehabilitation. I'm not asking for assistance with the treatment costs or healthcare costs. The family has pooled together over the years to make sure that my brother obtained a health insurance policy that would eventually cover the proper care he so desperately needed. We need help with the costs associated with lodging. His family needs to have some place to stay while care for him day in and day out until he is completely and officially discharged.
We have all extended and over extended ourselves to see that a member of our family had the best chance possible at life. Please consider donating a few dollars to make the next month a bit easier on his extremely dedicated family as they assist him in transitioning back to a normal life.
