Today, I am reaching out to ask for your support for Pauline Binam. At International Safe Haven Network Inc. (ISHNET), our mission is to support individuals and families facing difficult circumstances.

Pauline Nadege Binam has lived in the United States for over 30 years. She is a certified medical technician and the mother of a 17-year-old U.S. citizen daughter who is now facing life without her primary support.

Pauline was recently arrested while riding as a passenger in a car that was pulled over in South Carolina. Although she was not driving and maintains that the substance found in the vehicle was not hers, everyone in the car was taken into custody and later released. Pauline, however, remains in detention.

After being released from her first ICE detention, Pauline worked hard to rebuild her life. She returned to school and became a medical assistant, dedicating herself to helping others—especially women—while working to overcome the trauma she experienced. During her previous detention, Pauline endured a surgical procedure that permanently took away her ability to have more children.

Pauline also suffers from PTSD related to that experience and requires daily medication. Being back in custody has taken a serious toll on her health and her ability to support her daughter.

We are raising funds for:
