Hi, my name is Leanne, and I’m a single mom to three amazing girls.

For the past two summers, my girls have been able to go to summer camp thanks to a funding program. Camp has been the highlight of their year. It’s the one place they feel free, confident, and completely themselves. As a mom, watching them come home with camp songs, new friends, and stories about zip lining, and campfires.Especially learning about god, is everything.

This year, I found out the funding program isn’t available. The cost to send all three of them is about the same as one month’s rent for us, and it’s just not doable on my own. We don’t have the funds for family outings or vacations, so camp really is our summer. Without it, they’ll spend most of the summer at home.

I know times are tough for everyone right now, and asking for help is hard. But if you’re able to give anything, even $5, it would mean the world to us.
