I am reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my daughter Emma and her boyfriend Isaac, who were devastated by the recent floods in Abbotsford, BC.

The flooding happened suddenly and without warning. They had only minutes to evacuate, grabbing what they could before floodwaters took over. Thankfully, they were able to escape safely with their pets, which is something we are endlessly grateful for. Sadly, everything else was left behind.

Although they are safe, the emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming. Like many young people, they did not have insurance, and the losses they’ve experienced will follow them long after the waters recede.

This GoFundMe is to help ease the financial burden they are now facing and support them as they work to recover from such a traumatic event. Any donation, no matter how small, will help them regain some sense of stability and hope during this incredibly difficult time.
