Help Tiffany and Her Family Through Brain Surgery & Recovery

Hi everyone, my name is Tiffany. I’m a 39-year-old mom from Gilford, NH, and I’m creating this fundraiser not only for myself, but also to support my husband Ronnie and our 10-year-old son Henry as we go through the hardest time of our lives.

In 2022, after a bad slip and fall, doctors discovered that I have a brain tumor almost the size of a lime. That’s when my journey with seizures and epilepsy began. Over time, the seizures have only gotten worse. I have a few different kinds, and last October I nearly lost my life after suffering 7 or 8 grand mal seizures in a row. I was rushed to the Dartmouth ICU, put in a medically induced coma, and diagnosed with something called "status epilepticus" —an emergency condition where seizures just wouldn't stop.

After countless tests and evaluations, my neurology team at Dartmouth decided that surgery is the only option. They’ve chosen one of the most skilled neurosurgeons in New England to perform my surgery, with the first procedure on November 5th. While I am DEEPLY grateful to have this chance, the toll on our family has been overwhelming and devastating.

Because of my health, I can no longer function well enough to work. Seemingly overnight, we went from a two-income household to just one, leaving my husband to carry the weight of everything on his own—all of our bills, the rent, the car we rely on for his job and for my many appointments, and the day-to-day cost of living. On top of that, winter is almost here and we haven’t even been able to purchase oil to heat our home. We are terrified of losing everything while also trying to survive one of the scariest health battles imaginable.

I’m asking for help to raise $15,000 to keep us afloat during this time—covering bills, utilities, car payments, and heating oil until I can recover and get back on my feet. This will give my husband peace of mind, allow him to focus on our family, and ease the emotional and financial burden we’re carrying.

My biggest hope is to SURVIVE this surgery, come back home, and be here for my husband and son. But right now, I need your help to make sure they’re okay while I fight for my life.
