Janai is a mom with a motive. After twelve years in a physical, psychological and financially abusive relationship she has left her abuser. She is starting from the ground up and doing everything that she can to move forward to provide a stable and safe home for herself and her three beautiful children. 
After 1 month on her own she has made great strides on her own self-development.  She is engaged in services to work towards getting her financials in order, recovering from the PTSD developed after years of abuse, and developing plans for her future including returning to school. 

Funding for Janai would allow her to:
- pay off medical bills from past hospitalizations
-investing in a lawyer for family court to prevent her ex husband from further abuse of her and their children
-pay off current bills so as to improve her credit to secure stable housing

Janai's goal is that within the next 90 days or by roughly May 30 she will have reached her goals and will have paid off 75% of her debts, invested in a family lawyer and have safe and stable housing for herself and her children. Donations of any size are welcome.
