Family Tragically Loses Child In Hit And Run

Someone I consider family, Jessa Lynch, lost her 13 year old son, AJ Edhi, one year ago this month from a hit-and-run incident while he was riding his bike on May 29th in Edmonton. She has not been able to grieve, due to being financially burdened and the sole provider for her 3 remaining children as a single working parent.

No arrests have been made so she is unable to receive any community supports to assist in covering costs of AJ's service. The family has not been able to grieve, Jessa returned to work a month after losing her son to support her family financially.

AJ leaves behind an older brother who has been beside himself with grief and pulled out of school for a year unable to focus. A little sister who has struggled greatly with the loss of her best friend, and her protector. AJ also leaves behind a little brother who still calls out for him.
