Hi, my name is Melissa, and I’m a mother of four children who mean everything to me. They are the reason I keep going, even on the days when I feel like I’m falling apart.

Right now, we are facing one of the hardest moments of our lives. We are at risk of losing our home, and the thought of my children not having a safe place to sleep breaks my heart in a way I can’t even explain. As a mom, you always believe you’ll be able to protect your kids from everything , but this is something I can’t fix on my own.

There have been nights where I’ve stayed up crying, trying to figure out how I’m going to keep my family safe. My kids look at me for comfort, for answers, and all I want is to give them stability, warmth, and peace. They deserve so much more than this struggle.

I am reaching out for help because I don’t want my children to experience homelessness. I want them to feel secure, to have a place to call home, and to know that everything will be okay.
