Earlier this year, my 10-year-old daughter found me in the middle of a grand mal seizure, and that’s when we discovered I have brain cancer.
I’m Alicia, a mother of four incredible children and wife to my hardworking husband, Jose. After surgery, I was diagnosed with Grade II Astrocytoma Brain Cancer. The surgeons were only able to remove 80% of the tumor to avoid serious complications, in particular paralysis or extensive brain damage, so my recovery has been long and challenging.
Due to ongoing symptoms such as seizures, headaches, extreme fatigue, and constant body pain, I am unable to work. Every day, I focus on healing while caring for my family, but our finances have been stretched thin.
We are raising funds to help cover ongoing expenses during this season, so I can continue my recovery without added stress.
Any support, whether through donations, prayers, or sharing this fundraiser, means so much to me and my family. We are incredibly grateful for every bit of kindness and love.
