Hi my name is Victor Diaz, I'm a student filmmaker studying at Grand Canyon University. I was recently given the opportunity to make my own documentary with the help of the school. This short documentary is about a student who crosses the border every day from Mexico into the United States to get their education.

Everyday 150-170 students attend Calexico Mission School, an Adventist school, on the border of Southern California and Mexico. This Christian school is comprised of a student body in which 85% of the students cross the border to attend. This documentary hopes to chronical that journey and explore the challenges of that life and how every aspect of life is affected by it.

While the school has been of great help in preparation for shooting, there are financial challenges that come with making anything, this documentary is no exception. With your help, the money donated to this GoFundMe will go towards paying crew and towards a scholarship that will be given to said student who is chosen as the subject of this documentary.
