Help Us Bring Rosie Home — Funding a Life-Saving Missy Trap
Rosie is out there… and she’s been running for over three weeks.
She’s not just lost — she’s scared, confused, and surviving the only way she knows how.
Rosie was rescued as a puppy and given a second chance at life by an incredible foster family who patiently worked with her through her “feral” tendencies. Over the course of a year, they helped her learn what it means to feel safe inside a home, to trust humans, and to be loved.
That love led to a beautiful decision — they officially adopted her.
But heartbreak followed shortly after.
During her very first vet visit as their newly adopted dog, Rosie slipped away. Since that moment, she has been on the run — too frightened and “trap-shy” to be caught using traditional methods.
Rosie isn’t ignoring help — she’s too scared to accept it.
️ Why We Need the Missy Trap
To safely bring Rosie home, we need a Missy Trap - a specialized, humane, large-scale trap designed specifically for dogs like Rosie. Also needed is a ray tripper, battery, and a camera.
Unlike standard traps, the Missy Trap is:
Built for fearful, skittish dogs who avoid enclosed spaces
Large and modular, allowing for a less intimidating setup
Proven effective for dogs that cannot be caught any other way
Right now, an amazing group of dedicated volunteers is working tirelessly to track and safely capture Rosie. But without the right equipment, her rescue becomes exponentially harder — and more dangerous for her.
❤️ This Is Bigger Than Rosie
While Rosie is our immediate mission, this trap will continue to save lives long after she is home.
Dogs like Rosie exist in every community — lost, scared, and unable to be caught with conventional tools. The Missy Trap will become a shared resource to help:
Reunite lost dogs with their families
Safely rescue fearful and feral dogs
Support volunteer rescue efforts for years to come
How You Can Help
Your donation will go directly toward purchasing a Missy Trap and helping bring Rosie home safely.
Every dollar brings us closer to:
✔️ Ending Rosie’s time on the run
✔️ Reuniting her with the family who fought so hard for her
✔️ Saving future dogs who desperately need this same chance
Rosie has already overcome so much in her life.
Now she just needs our help to make it back home.
Thank you for being part of her story.
