I’m Nouran

I‘m a single Syrian mother living in the Netherlands with my child. During the war in Syria, a shell exploded near us and severely injured my hand, cutting the arteries and tendons. I lost all feeling in my hand and can no longer perform even the simplest daily tasks.

Every day, I suffer unbearable pain and electric shock–like attacks that shoot through my arm and under my armpit. I have undergone many surgeries, but sadly, all have failed.

Now, there is hope for an advanced surgery in Saudi Arabia I would like to confirm that my intended hospital for the surgery is King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This hospital is one of the leading medical centers in the region, and I plan to undergo my nerve surgery there once all arrangements are finalized. that could improve my condition and relieve the pain—but the cost is far beyond what I can afford on my own.

All I want is to live without pain and to be the mother my child deserves.

I love life, even if the feeling in my hand never returns. My only wish is to live it free from this constant suffering.
