My name is Mahdi Nijim, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and an urgent plea for support. After enduring multiple displacements due to the ongoing conflict in Gaza, our lives were forever changed on October 26th, 2023, when a rocket struck our building. This tragedy claimed the lives of my beloved wife, Mayada (41 years), my daughter, Maria (12 years), and my son, Ahmed (5 years). The horror of that moment is indescribable, and the scars it left on our family run deep.

Amidst the devastation, we managed to evacuate to Turkey, driven by the urgent need for medical attention for my surviving daughters. Two of them, by some miracle, clung to life but with serious injuries that require extensive medical treatment and care. Mira, a brave 9-year-old, and Miral, a resilient 14-year-old, are the pillars of strength in this journey of recovery.
