A Miracle for the Meissner's
Donation protected
My husband and I have known Mary and Glen for over 30 years. Glen woke up one morning and didn't have use of arms and hands. He underwent two individual spinal surgeries well over 12 hours total. To date Glen is still in the hospital. He will not be able to return to work for possibly over a year if even at all. The Dr. stated that his recovery will be at least a year and a half. Mary is trying to hold up the best that she can trying to be strong for Glen. They are now a one income family. With the cost of just basic living this is not enough. Mary is still working and being a Mother and now full time care giver and wife for Glen, she is being stretched thin. Thank all of you for considering to lend a helping hand.
I have changed the goal amount as of today 7/2/23 as after speaking to my dear friend Mary medical bills have started to come in. The income of the household has not changed since Glen became set back. He needs much more re-hab and probably will never work again. I thank all of those that have helped out with donations of money and food to help this family move ahead. The road ahead is a very long road. If I could snap my fingers and make it all go away I would. For now, we pray, we support, we reach out as we can to love our dear friends. Thank you all again for your love and concern for Mary, Glen, Sally, and Matthew. May God bless.
