A miracle for our Wonder Woman

Hi everyone,

My name is Meg and I am fundraising on behalf of my mom Jena. On Mother’s Day (May 14th 2023) my mom woke Landon up in the early hours complaining of not being able to breathe. She started to change color and Landon quickly started CPR before paramedics came. After being rushed to the hospital, and having to do numerous tests Landon (my moms husband) was told that she had a major heart attack, and is now on blood thinners, and Iv and is being stabilized by medications, and a breathing tube as she cannot breathe on her own..

The doctors have told him that mom had been unconscious for long time and they don’t know her brain stability from lack of consistent oxygen before she had been stabilized in the hospital. They have moved my mom in the ICU. She is not sedated and on full life support and dialysis. We were also told the brain isn’t responding how they want yet. Today, she is scheduled for a CT to check on the brain activity as that is still unknown, . She has lost a lot of oxygen while given CPR.

Landon and I have been praying and speaking to her in hopes she can hear us, we have asked if people can send voice messages to us as well so when she wakes up she can hear all the love and support around her.

If you know my mom, you likely know that asking for help from her community is not without an immense amount of consideration and care. She is someone who walks with people through incredible adversity and still moves with the lightest of hearts. We are kindly asking for donations so that Landon and I can remain close to her. We do not plan on leaving her side and continue fighting as hard as we can.
