❤️ Fundraiser Message for Terese & Her Son, Nasir

Hi everyone,

We are reaching out on behalf of our friend Terese, whose son Nasir recently suffered a sudden and life-threatening cardiac event. In the moment Nasir’s heart stopped, their entire family’s heart stopped with him. Everything changed in a single breath.

On Saturday late afternoon, Nasir was playing basketball with his friends — doing what kids do — when he suddenly collapsed and his heart stopped.

By the grace of God, and thanks to the instant, heroic actions of our mom-friend Charisse, Nasir received life-saving chest compressions while the ambulance rushed to the scene. Charisse stepped in without hesitation, and her intervention kept him alive for help to arrive.

When the paramedics got there, they administered an electric shock to restore his heartbeat.

It was a miracle — but the journey ahead is long, emotional, and filled with uncertainty.

Right now, Terese is doing what any mother would do: living at the hospital, advocating for her child, holding his hand, and praying over his healing. But medical crises like this carry not only emotional weight — they bring a tremendous financial burden as well.
