A Miracle For Jayden

Hi, my name is Vaniecea (Niecie). I am Jayden’s Mímí. We, his family, who love him so much, need your help, the hospital bills, time off work and other expenses that may come are more than we currently have. For me to ask is extremely humbling.

Jayden is an amazingly independent 14 month old baby boy with a golden spirit, who in a very short time here on earth has stolen the heart's of everyone he's met! Last Saturday Jayden tragically fell into a pool. (Knowing him, he probably innocently thought he could swim by himself.) My daughter, who is a Firefighter and EMT never expected to be first on the scene for her own baby. I can’t imagine the fear and trauma she must have felt finding him unresponsive. (May God ease her spirit.) We who love this precious boy are forever grateful to her for using her skills to immediately call 911 and begin CPR. Jayden was revived thanks to God, his mom's quick actions, and the work of her brothers and sisters in this line of self sacrificing service, Lake County’s First Responders. After stabilisation Jayden was flown to the Advent Hospital Peds. ICU, in Orlando where they are currently giving him phenomenal care. He is still in critical condition, fighting with all his might to hold on…we are 5 days strong. When admitted we also found out Jayden has COVID, with the flu! No one was aware he had either virus because it hadn’t stopped him from being his lively, inquisitive self! (Busy boy ;-)

Honestly, this feels like the scariest roller coaster ride ever (ready to get off the ride now), still holding tight with occasional tears, to something my patient husband and two wonderful servants of God reminded me of; “the peace that passes ALL understanding.” We are believing in our hearts with steadfast faith that God's Will shall be a healing miracle! My heart skips a beat when I see him open his sweet little eyes and let us know he is there by wiggling his happy feet: grateful for every second granted with him, so proud of his determination to survive and his parent’s strength to stand by him.

My daughter and her husband are caretakers for others everyday. Her husband works at a hospital ER and is a Marine, in service to our country. Both make sacrifices for others supporting wellness and freedom. They chose careers where the reward is far from financial gain, but priceless in knowing you helped someone. I am asking for help for them to pay for medical bills (I know are more than requested) aid with household expenses while in intensive care with Jayden and for any other essential expenses they may need now or in the future to get through this very tough situation. I want them to be able to stay with Jayden as long as it takes for him to recover. If I had the money I’d give it to them, not just because they are my family, but because of the kind and caring people they are. Neither omen have any idea I am setting this up and never would ask for help, (can’t believe I am either) but they deserve it. José and Kenzie always offer help unselfishly to others. As I watch them now, with their baby, to me they are heroes.

In addition to financial support I am humbly requesting all help by telling anyone you know or don’t know who believes God still works miracles to pray for Jayden to heal, comfort his mom, dad and all who love him. Let Jayden be a testimony that with no doubt, God willing, we shall have
