A miracle for Drake
A few short weeks ago, Drake, alongside his loving wife Korry and daughter Lyla, received the most earth shattering news.
He's been diagnosed with Stage IV cancer ... and it's aggressive.
No signs ... no warnings. It began as indigestion within their first few days on the road to Korry's Dads "Celebration of Life" in the last week of May.
They are still reeling from the shock ... all the while weary from many emergency room visits. Most recently, Drake required an emergency surgery to help ease a Major Blockage in his stomach.
Some conventional treatments may be available to him. However, he needs at least 4 weeks to (hopefully) recover and regain his strength from this first surgery.
Drake has always been one of those guys ... head down, working hard to support his family, no matter what. He is their sole income earner.
The plan was for Korry to build her business in Greenwood ... and she's only just begun. They just bought their dream property. He just finished building his "dream come true" music studio.
They are devastated.
He has not been able to work for a month. And won't be able to work for the foreseeable future. Korry is relying on friends to help keep her shop running minimally. Their income streams have come to a halt.
The expenses have become immense very quickly. And the journey has only just begun for Drake and his family.
They need a miracle.
They are doing everything in their power to resource themselves with information about all therapies that are available for him. Some are incredibly expensive. They need to look into all possibilities ... and waste no time.
Drake would never ask for help. He's always believed in being as self sufficient as possible.
And he's one of the most generous guys we know.
So we are asking for your help ... however you can with whatever you can.
With much love, gratitude & mustering all the hope we can,
Allison & Amanda
