Hello, my name is Valerie Leal, and I am the daughter of Patricia Martinez Peña and the step-daughter of Aaron Mojica Peña Jr.

My family and I are deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of Aaron in the early morning of Friday, November 21st, 2025. During this difficult time, I am kindly reaching out on behalf of my mother to help with funeral expenses, travel costs, medical bills, mortgage, and other financial needs. My mother will be managing her home and daily life alone, all while continuing her fifth year of cancer treatment.

Aaron and my mother shared seven wonderful years together and recently celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary. He was an incredible blessing to our family in countless ways. A caring and selfless man, he was always willing to help others, a person of integrity and strength who stood by his word, and someone who provided love and support to everyone around him. His departure leaves a significant void, especially for my mother. He was her main caregiver during her treatments, assisting me when I couldn't support her directly. He also supported me emotionally after my father’s passing in 2021, serving as a father figure to me.

While we face uncertainty at this moment, your kindness and support have been a source of comfort. We have received many heartfelt visits, calls, check-ins, food, and warm embraces, all of which mean so much to us. If you are able to contribute financially in any way, we would be sincerely grateful for your generosity.
