On August 6, 2025, my sister passed away. She was cremated, and her funeral was held in September. At the time, my parents covered the funeral costs, and her job at The Cheesecake Factory generously contributed toward her services as well. Everything surrounding the funeral and cremation was taken care of—but we never arranged a final resting place for her ashes.

At the time, we weren’t thinking clearly. We were grieving and just trying to get through the days. Recently, it’s really started to weigh on me that there is no place to go to visit her, to sit with her, or to talk to her. There are also many people who loved her deeply and never had the chance to properly say goodbye.

I want to raise funds to bury her ashes and place a headstone in the Dumfries Cemetery so she can have a permanent resting place—a place where family, friends, and loved ones can visit, leave flowers, and feel close to her. She meant so much to so many people, and I know having a place to remember her would mean a lot to everyone who loved her.
