No family ever expects to still be trying to place a headstone for their loved one two years after losing them, but that’s the reality we’ve been facing since my brother passed. Two years ago, we lost my brother, and not a single day has gone by that we haven’t felt that loss. Anyone who knew him knows the kind of person he was... the friend who would show up, the laugh you could recognize anywhere, the person who left an impact on so many lives. This has weighed heavily on our hearts that we still haven’t been able to place a headstone for him. It has never been about forgetting him... it has simply been the reality of finances and life happening all at once.
This year, our family made a promise that by Father’s Day we want to finally place his tombstone so his resting place reflects the love and memories everyone has for him. He deserves to be honored properly. We know he had so many friends, family members, and people whose lives he touched. If everyone who cared about him gave even a small amount, we could make this happen and finally give him the memorial he deserves.
If you’re able to help, no matter how small, our family would be deeply grateful. And if you can’t donate, simply sharing this would mean the world to us.
Thank you for helping us honor his memory and make this possible.
