Mitchell Kovacevich, also known as “Birdman,” recently passed away, leaving behind many family members and friends who loved him deeply. Mitchell was from Galveston and was also a proud Ball High School student.

He was a war veteran who served his country with honor and sacrifice. Even through life’s challenges, he always brought laughter and joy to those around him and would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need.

Now, his loved ones are faced with the difficult task of arranging a proper memorial and covering funeral expenses, which has become a heavy financial burden. We are reaching out to anyone who can help.
