On the 11th of August 2019, at 4:03pm, Jordy prematurely gained her wings.
A lover of the people and defender for the underdog, one simple decision to get a lift home for dinner changed peoples lives indefinately.
On the 11th of August we lost more than just our neice, a father lost his daughter, a mother lost her best friend, and the world lost its sparkle.
On August11th 2019 Jordana was tragically and sensilly taken in a car accident, one that should have never occured, at no fault of her own, a decision to take a risk that she paid the ultimate price for "her life" rested in the hands of someone else driving a car irratically.
The saying is "only the good die young" and Jordy was most definately the good that the world needed, a lioness when it came to defending her family
and friends, her beautiful soul radiated from the inside out, I know most people of the peninsula knew who Jordy Kirkwood was and have
spent many hours since her passing reminisng about stories and mourning the loss of such a significant person.
This Go fund me page, its not about her, its about us, about allowing everyoe in the community so tragically affected by the monumental loss of Jordys
pressence, a place to share her stories, to continue her name being spokien, to never let her memory fade.
This target amount reflects the local councils cost to install a bench seat and a plaque inside Frankston Botanic gardens, now
Jordy wasnt the picnic in the park type, but I know she would want to have a safe eniroment filled with love, no judgement, support
and closure for her brothers, sisters, family and friends, I also know that she would be out here rallying the tin shakers
if this had happened to anyone she knew.
Donate a little, donate alot, or even share it. Just know that this spot will be available all to anyone on their darkest days, lowest moods
dressed up or in your pjs, this spot will be about all that was Jordana Atilina - this spot will be for the peopole she loved
and cared about the most ( as long as we bring a dart for her to have) or Strangers (they should probably bring 2 darts)
Lets heal the canyon sized hole that her leaving us has created by continuing her legacy.
When people say I am sorry for your loss I correct them and say
"I am sorry for our loss" because it is truely a loss to ayone who knew her or anyone who missed out on getting to know her.
