Hello everyone, this is Jordan’s sister, Whisper. I am setting up this fundraiser to help my parents, Eric and Sheila Schroeder. As a family, we are all struggling emotionally, mentally, and physically with the sudden loss of our dear Jordan. I do not want this to become a financial strain on my parents right now, as they already have more than enough to worry about.

On Friday, May 8, 2026, my sweet sibling, Jordan, took their own life. After struggling with depression for so long, it ultimately became too much for them to bear. Jordan is no longer in pain and, for the first time, can finally hear the silence. Jordan left behind their doggy, Virgil, who is struggling just as much, if not more than we are.

Since Jordan did not have savings or life insurance, I am asking for help so my parents can cover the costs of cremation, the memorial service, and caring for Jordan’s belongings, and basic care for Virgil. The initial estimate was $3,000, but additional costs keep popping up. We intend to create a service dedicated to the snarky, silly, irreverent, and deeply loving person Jordan is.

It is important to note that any funds collected beyond our total expenses will be donated to the Trevor Project in Jordan’s name. We know that is what Jordan would have wanted.
