A memorial for Ellen Mahoney

Ellen Mahoney was a nurse on 2N nights for many years at Huntington Hospital. She had many health issues these past few years and passed away Sunday November 14th. Ellen was kind and extremely generous. She had her Ellenisms that made us laugh as do visions of Ellen running down the hall for a bed alarm dance in our heads.

Ellen’s coworkers on 2N were her family. These past few years, her coworkers were the ones that checked on her, took her out on adventures, and loved and cared for her. Tiffany, Kathy, and Maureen were there for Ellen every step of the way through everything she went through since her mother passed.

We would like to remember her and give her the memorial she deserves. We are raising the funds to have one night at Jacobsen Funeral Home to remember and honor our friend, Ellen Mahoney.
