On January 5th 2026 we lost our dear friend, Christine Johnson, to cancer at the age of 38. She was a compassionate veterinarian who deeply believed in independently owned, community-focused clinics.

While in college, she was an animal care giver at Long Beach Animal Hospital—an experience that helped shape her values and love for the profession. As we come together to celebrate her life, we are raising funds to donate to the clinic that meant so much to her, with the hope of creating a small memorial in her name.
