A memorial bench for Tad Elgie

Donation protected
Anyone who knew my dad, Tad Elgie, knows he would give you the clothes off his back if he thought you needed them. He lovingly and selflessly raised 7 children, was grandpa to 8 beautiful grandchildren, and was the devoted husband to our incredible mom, Jackie. He had a bit of wisdom to impart for every situation, and he was a kind and gentle soul that I’m sure we all agree was taken too soon.

My dad has always had a close connection with nature, and he spent many days, evenings, and weekends, at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis. We thought what better way to leave a lasting memorial to the good he has brought to this world, than to give us all a seat in nature where we can talk to him, reflect on the lessons we have learned from him, or just give another passer by a place to rest, as my dad would be more than willing to do on any occasion.

If we happen to raise more than enough for the memorial bench, any leftover funds will go to our mom to help with end of life expenses.

We thank you for a donation of any size, or a simple share of this fundraiser to help spread the word. Our family is constantly showered with love and support in our lives,  and I’m sure it brought my dad great peace knowing that we are always in good hands. Thank you for loving us, and thank you for loving him.
