A memorial bench for Ron Taube

Ron Taube was a birder, photographer, writer and friend whose passion and talent inspired others.   He was generous with his time and expertise, and mentored many new birders.  Ron lost his battle with cancer on September 16, 2020, leaving a hole in the birding community and in the hearts of those who knew him.   He enjoyed spending time at Springbrook Nature Center in Fridley, Minnesota, so to express our love and gratitude, we’re hoping to be able to dedicate a bench in his memory at that park.

We invite you to contribute to this fundraiser if Ron Taube touched your life in any way.  And at some later date, if you find yourself at Springbrook Nature Center, the Sax-Zim Bog, Hawk Ridge, Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park, or any other park or natural area where you might have crossed paths with Ron, take the time to observe the wonders of nature all around you, which Ron so beautifully captured with his words and photos.
