A Memorial Bench for Robbie Wilson
Donation protected
Robbie Wilson was a beloved member of Birkdale Village and will be greatly missed by many. The village won’t be the same without him. His smile lit up any room and his contagious laugh had everyone in his company happy and laughing too. We are working with the local council to have a bench installed in the village in Robbie’s memory, something everyone can use and enjoy to sit with him in his beloved Birkdale and reminisce the good times.
A group of Robbie's friends and family are coming together to take part in the 3 Peaks in 24 hours Challenge in September. This will consist of us hiking the three highest mountains across Scotland, England and Wales. With the funds left over, we aim to donate the money to a charity set up by Robbie's best friends, Joey and Ben, called ‘Its Okay To Talk’. It has been set up in connection with Andy’s Man Club which is a charity across the UK that creates a safe, welcoming space for men to come together and talk.
Robbie's friends and family would really appreciate support in raising the funds and to support the safe space set up for anyone needing somewhere to not feel alone.
The hike will take place on the 23rd-24th of September, anyone is welcome to participate! Contact Olivia for details if interested.
