On March 7, 2022, Tamaiya Morton lost her life at the tender age of 26 to a heinous and brutal act of gun violence; in the presence of her three small children, ages 3, 5, and 7 years old. You can imagine, it has devasted them and her parents, Lakeisha and Lorenda.

It is only fair like any mother Tamaiya anticipated raising her children, watching them grow and flourish. It is only fitting that her children expected to experience her nurturing and warm embraces for years to come.

Lakeisha and Lorenda must now bury their daughter and raise three small children in her stead. They have a long road ahead of them. We are raising funds to help cover an appropriate service and burial for their daughter and other expenses that will need to be covered. We ask that you help however you can in this tragic and challenging time. Any donation will help this family who is no doubt heartbroken about the loss of Tamaiya, such a beautifully unique soul.
