A medical repatriation for Alexander William Parker

Donation protected
Our father, Alexander William Parker (73), is critically ill in Thailand. For five months, he has been in and out of hospital, and when we were called out last month, we found him unconscious and fighting for his life.

Doctors suspect lymphoma, now spread to multiple areas of his body, but repeated biopsies have come back inconclusive. He cannot get the treatment he needs in Thailand. His last wish is simple but urgent: to come home to England to be with his children and grandchildren, and to receive proper care.

Because he is so unwell, he needs a specialist medical repatriation flight (Medevac UK). The cost is £30,000 — far beyond what we can manage alone. We have already covered his hospital bills and sought help from veteran charities, but no additional support is available. As our father has a partially collapsed lung we have a short window of time to fly him home as he will need a lung procedure to stabilise him prior to flying.

Our dad proudly served over 30 years with the Royal Fleet Auxiliary, in conflicts from the Falklands and Gulf to Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan. Now, we are asking for help for him.

Please, if you can, donate and share our story. Every pound and every share brings us closer to bringing Dad home.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you.
