Help Us Give Our Mom, Deborah, a Meaningful Memorial

Our family is facing something we never wanted to have to prepare for. Our mom, Deborah, is nearing the end of her life, and while we are trying to spend what time we have left loving her, being with her, and supporting one another, we are also faced with the heartbreaking reality of planning for her memorial and final expenses. She was just moved to a hospice house today.

As her children, all we want is to be able to give our mom the goodbye she deserves — a chance for the people who love her to come together, remember her life, share memories, and honor the woman she has been to all of us.

Unfortunately, the financial side of making those arrangements is more than any of us are able to take on right now. None of us were financially prepared for these expenses, and together we simply do not have enough to cover the cost of her memorial and other final arrangements outright.

It is incredibly difficult to ask for help, especially during such an emotional time, but we don’t want finances to be the reason we aren’t able to give our mom a proper and meaningful farewell.

We are asking our family, friends, and anyone who feels led to help us during this time to consider donating toward Deborah’s memorial and final expenses. Any amount, no matter how small, will help ease some of the financial burden on our family and allow us to focus more of our energy on being together and making the most of the time we still have with Mom.
