A Marathon for Melanoma
Donation protected
In memory of the greatest man I knew, I am fundraising for the terrible disease that took him away from us - Melanoma. Cancer of the skin is by far the most common of all cancers. Melanoma accounts for only about 1% of skin cancers but causes a large majority of skin cancer deaths. Your contributions will go directly to a Melanoma Doctor to fund their research projects at the largest and oldest private cancer centre in the world - Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Dad was kind, thoughtful, and loving. He had an infectious smile, was full of wisdom, and a true gentleman. It's been a tough few months since we lost him - we miss him dearly, but his spirit lives in our hearts, with everybody having different ways and moments of honoring him. For me, his passing has turned from being the hurdle of my training, to the strength that uplifts me as I run miles in his memory.
Dad gave everything with his heart; so please join me in honoring his way of giving, through fundraising efforts that will help us have a world without Melanoma.
With Love,
Kapi.
PS. The funds raised here will go directly to my bank account - of which I will then pay to the Charity directly, enabling the company I work for to match the donation $ for $.
So anything you see here - will be doubled. I will post a receipt of the final amount.
