Hi, my name is Jaelyn Churchill, and I’m producing a senior thesis short film at Grand Valley State University titled A Man’s Ambition, directed by James Nuttall.

A Man’s Ambition follows a young court jester who faces the greatest decision of his life: to chase uncertain fame or embrace the steady love of his family. As he prepares for the performance that could make—or break—him, an emotional encounter with his mother forces him to confront what truly matters. She pleads with him not to go as she fears what may happen to him. The jester must choose, fame or family.
