I’m a lifelong writer with a passion for storytelling. I’ve been writing poetry and short stories since childhood, and over the years, I’ve written and directed short films that have made their way into film festivals—some even earning awards. But it wasn’t until I had my first child—my son and the inspiration behind this book—that I truly understood the magic of bedtime stories.

Now, as a mother of one teen boy and four young children (all under the age of five!), reading has become a treasured daily ritual in our home. With your support, I’m excited to bring The Adventures of Til, Mor, and the Alien Next Door! to life—a children’s book series that celebrates imagination, inclusion, and the joy of storytelling.

What’s the Series About?

Til, Mor, and Winter are three best friends—two boys from different backgrounds and a bright, bold alien girl who lives right next door! Each book follows them on a brand-new adventure, whether they’re exploring imaginary worlds, solving everyday challenges, or learning about friendship, family, and acceptance.

What makes this series unique is its inclusive approach to family structures. Til’s family is shown in different versions—one with a single mother, another with two dads, and a third with two moms—giving families and readers the freedom to choose what fits their household without judgment or pressure.

What the Funds Will Cover:

Your generous support will go toward:

• ISBNs for each book version and format – $295

• Copyright registration – $65

• Professional cover design and character artwork – $600

• Interior layout and formatting for print and digital – $200

• Printing and shipping of rewards – $300+

• Marketing and outreach – $100

Total Goal: $2,500 - $4,500.

The lower amount may cover one to two books in the series. The higher amount will cover 3 to 4 books in the series. Any additional funds will help us complete the fifth book and offer multilingual versions for broader accessibility!
