There are a lot of things that I don't know:

I don't know why the world keeps moving without Kaitlyn.

I don't know how I'm going to raise my girls without their mom.

I don't know how I'm going to thank everyone who has held our family in their hearts the last few months.

Kaitlyn has been sick for a while and some of you knew more about that than others. She never did want to make anyone fuss over her. We have seen more doctors and tried so many treatments and at least I can say that we did everything we could. But it wasn't enough.

My sweet girl left a huge hole in the world.

If you're reading this, then I want to thank you for taking the time. If you can donate, then I want to tell you how much your generosity means to me and my girls and I want you to know that your blessings will be passed on. My Kaitlyn wouldn't want it any different. And I want you to know that any money that is donated after we pay off her medical bills and give her the goodbye she deserves will go half to the American Heart Association and half into our girls' college accounts, so your money won't be wasted.
