A Loving Tribute to Izzy Barton

This GoFundMe is to create a memorial and cover the final passing of our beloved Izzy Barton, 7/8/2010-12/3/2024. We are intending to do a donation to Brother Wolf Animal Shelter, the wonderful place we adopted Izzy from, in her honor. Izzy was a lover of popcorn, the beach, rolling in poop, the shade, sunny deck spots, feathers, large sticks, snow, taking stairs like a bunny, her forever friend Pippi, chasing soccer balls, scratchy blankets, rubbing on carpets, sleeping on the back of the couch like a cat, being carried on hikes, Brussels sprouts, naps, snatching food from fingers in midair, sneaking under beds, stealing Jack’s waffle, dancing, short walks, scooting blankets, and opening Christmas stockings. You had the best smile and the best wiggle waggle when you were excited. You brought us so much joy for 14 years and five months. It’s impossible to pay tribute to this kind of love and the 3,986 photos I took of you just on this iPhone alone since 2018. Although we may be physically apart, ours is a love that lasts forever so you will always be with us.
