My Mom, Cheryl Chambers, went to be with Jesus Saturday night. Here is a heartfelt tribute my Dad wrote that I’d like to share with you all.

“At 6:14 pm Saturday, February 14th, 2026 Cheryl completed her last race on earth as she finished strong and is now rejoicing in the loving embrace of her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. She was relaxed and peaceful as she went from my arms in her hospice bed to her eternal home. She was 73.5 years old and we were 3 months shy of our 50th wedding anniversary. The last three weeks were difficult watching her slow decline but it provided such sweet opportunity for family and friends to visit and let her know how much she impacted their lives and how much she was loved.”

Rather than placing additional burden on my dad, Tim, for memorial expenses during this time of grieving, I am arranging a donation from friends and loved ones near and far toward these expenses. Many have asked how they can serve him/us during this time while honoring her legacy.

There will be a memorial service to honor Cheryl Chambers on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 12pm followed by a light lunch. This will be held at The Fields Church in Carlsbad, CA.
